In the three days since Wednesday I have received no chemotherapy drugs. I feel fine. Only real symptoms are the blisters on both feet, with the one on the left foot quite a large size. Both lie underneath the junction of the big toe and the first toe.The left blister was opened, cleaned, disinfected and dressed at the Zita Mary Clinic last Tuesday. The right one that was left to its own devices has stayed smaller. I am dressing both with Savlon antiseptic powder. I can manage a slow 20 minute walk around the block, that is all.
I continue to read and be amazed and inspired by the stories from Cathy's EC Cafe; the detail given in each one varies, but between them all I see so many similarities with my condition and learn so much from their stories.
A blog of my encounter firstly with gastro oesophageal cancer and later with cancer at the pyloric end of the stomach. Blog started 13 October 2007.
