Greetings to all;
Last week when I attempted a new post update I kept getting a red letter blogger error message to say that contact with blogger.com was lost and that autosave and publishing were compromised!! So that update failed of course. This time the connection seems normal so I will run this through quickly. My 5-FU pump was renewed last Wednesday after I returned a good set of blood test results, despite feeling poorly.
Now things seem to be in a holding pattern. I feel tired and listness, no appetite and corrupted taste and smell. Biggest problems is pain and discomfort in swallowing food, right at the new junction or anastamosis as it is called. My weight seems to have stabilized at 75 kg. I take whatever chance I can to eat high calorie food.
Tomorrow I will go to a 'Look good, Feel better' session at Calvary Hospital. Usually tailored for the women undergoing chemo, this session will be for the guys!! What will I do!!?? Have a face lift, dye my hair orange, get a tattoo and put a gold earing in. Seriously though it will be a chance to meet some fellow travellers.
Thanks for all your thoughts, prayers and support.
