Greetings all,
Yesterday I visited consultant medical oncologist Dr Desmond Yip for a six monthly review. It was in May that I was 'deaccessed' from my post-operative chemotherapy. As you will know, everything has been going well for me since then, including our Northern safari and one month holiday in England.
Accordingly, it came as no surprise when Dr Yip ticked all the boxes, said my blood tests were good and asked to see me in another six months!! I did scratch around trying to find questions to ask him, but really there is little that is of great concern right now. Dr Yip is a man of few words, but I do trust him to tell me if there is anything important to take account of.
So, I am feeling good, have good appetite & digestive function, high energy levels and a stable weight at 80kg.
Not long now to my first anniversary of surgery in February
