Situation worsening

Greetings to all followers
This post is not pretty reading; but its the way it is.
Over the past month or so things have changed for the worse and I have experienced several episodes of what I am calling reflux. These have occurred in the evening or at night after going to bed. I had a particularly nasty attack last night, though I feel OK now.
A vile acidic taste is tasted in the mouth and this quickly leads to nausea and vomiting. The vomit seems to be a mixture of mucus and blood rather than undigested food. Once I have thrown up my stomach seems to settle and I can get to sleep.
These episodes seem to occur after eating a dinner at about 1900, and are associated with perhaps too much food or too rich & spicy a meal. For about a year after surgery & chemo I was able to eat as much as I wanted when I wanted with no hint of reflux. I continue to take PPI medication Somac 20mg/d. I will be modifying my eating habits and times to avoid the problem areas. At least I do not get reflux every night!!
I will be seeing my GP to discuss everything as soon as possible. I think another gastroscopy is called for.
Oncologist Dr Yip said he was happy with the results of my recent [29 May 09] CT scans [phone message from his secretary], though the CT specialist had flagged a suspicious dark area that could be a lymph node swelling near the liver. [I read the CT specialists report]. The CT specialist reported no abnormality in the scan of the head...nothing that might explain my ongoing headaches, so we are back to square one there.
I have yet to hear the opinion of surgeon Dr Mosse on the CT results.

My headaches continue most every morning when I wake, [I debate whether I wake with the headache or am woken by the headache] and now I am also getting reverberations in the head if I make sudden movements. I also wake with sore eyes and a dry mouth.
So I think slow and careful caution is the order of the day until we get a clearer picture of what is happening.
