Recovering at home

Lynne, Juliet & I in the walkway...looking good!

It is now five days since I was discharged from the Canberra Hospital. I feel slow improvement each day, but I dont know what to expect; I am catching up on sleep. Yesterday I walked about 1km to the local shops and back at a slow steady pace. Enjoyed an ice cream, but threw that up on my return.

I can eat most things in small quantities, but I have been plagued by a sensation of reflux especially when in bed. Basically I can taste the food I have eaten, and it is none too pleasant. I am also conscious of a weight inside my chest cavity. All the wounds seem to have healed well. Today I threw up after breakfast, rather glad that it happened; it cleared things out.
