Hello all,
Thanks for all messages of support and comments to the blog.
Blood counts were good, so last Wednesday I got the full day session for chemotherapy at the Zita Mary Clinic. 8 hours all up; biggest hold up was producing 400ml of urine needed to complete the treatment! I have less and less enthusiasm for the clinic sessions; I almost feel sick just going there. These last few days have been the worst I can remember. I feel lethargic, with no appetite and a queasy stomach. Each night a fierce headache settles in and I can only sleep fitfully. My mouth gets as dry as the Simpson Desert. Through the day I can enjoy pottering around in the garden on these sunny autumn days. Went with Greg Worthington to the Malkara Model Train show this morning as a diversion. Lynne is busy always trying to cook up soft easy meals that will tempt me.
Well just five more weeks to go!!
A blog of my encounter firstly with gastro oesophageal cancer and later with cancer at the pyloric end of the stomach. Blog started 13 October 2007.

Hi, only 5 more weeks to go, you are doing very well to get so far already! Keep it up! Try and drink as much water as you can! Love, JA xoxx
Dear Peter,
We are so proud of you. Only 5 weeks to go, so keep your pecker up. I can only imagine it but I guess the last 5 weeks can be the most important to get rid of the residual Klingons.
