Hi there folks; I have not felt too good this last week, but the end is in sight. A very sore tongue and mouth have made even talking rather unpleasant. My mouth is very tender and sensitive to acids. Food swallowing continues to be very uncomfortable. Energy levels are low and I continue to loose weight. Last Wednesday the 5-FU pump was renewed and so I am into the last week of cycle 2. When chemo is over I will move to get a gastroscopy done on my throat to sort out the swallowing problem
I hear that my surgeon, Dr Charles Mosse, is himself not well, so I wish him all the best. The nicest thing now is the magnificent autumn weather, which I enjoy either on a walk or outside in the garden.
Enjoy your day.
