Back from England & France

Hello folks; the last posting on 02 SEP 08 was on the eve of our departure for holiday in England & France and dwelt primarily on my colon!!! This posting is far more pleasant reading and I can happily report that the four week holiday for Lynne & I was a roaring success and there were no setbacks. Four weeks felt like four months!!
My body [including the all important colon] performed without mishap in the face of a busy schedule; my eating and drinking were unrestrained. As much as possible I stuck to my routine of a morning walk before breakfast. It really was the case that my cancer and its treatment was a historical curiosity that had no influence on what we did or where we went. Of course, all of our family in England were absolutely thrilled to see me in such good form. Lynne & I in turn could thank them for all the suport and encouragement they gave as they followed this blog and kept in touch on the phone.
