Trial posting from Windows Live Writer

I have recently downloaded Windows Live Writer and this is a first effort at using it to post to my blogspot over at Google. On the cancer chemotherapy front today will be important because the Doc will check out the ugly purple brown blotches on my feet and hands to decide whether to continue treatment. For my part I hope he does continue. I feel that I can tolerate some minor discomfort and disfigurement for the sake of attacking the cancer.

I have been reading the book Two Queens in One Isle by Alison Plowden, the story of the relationship between Elizabeth I and Mary Queen of Scots. In a passage dealing with the chronic and manifold health and medical problems besetting Mary, I particularly related to the quote from the Earl of Shrewsbury, who described her colour and complexion as 'truly ...much decayed'..a bit like I feel now!!!
