Put simply, the results of the CT scan done on Tuesday last were as good as could be hoped for. The report prepared by Dr Anusha Naidoo on 08 DEC 09 [folio 2170162-1] is two pages of medical terminology which says fundamentally that no abnormality can be reported. No cancer can be detected.
Lynne & I will discuss the ramifications of the reoprt with Dr Yip, medical oncologist, next week. I will be asking for a gastroscopy as soon as possible to confirm the diagnosis.
It is paradoxical that this good report comes at a time when I am generally feeling rather tired and unwell. Reverberations in the head, headache, backache, stomach ache, dry mouth; all enough to weigh like a millstone around my neck. I will be seeing my GP Dr Brown on Tuesday and will raise these issues.
